TEMPORARY STATES is an "undisciplined" conceptual art project committed to meaningful encounters. It is a purposefully open, international network of living artists, curators, theorists, engineers, city planners and backers.
We believe art can and should serve a transformative function in society, and in terms of consciousness. We value contemporary art exhibitions and events that encourage a shift in established systems, stalemates and thought: a break from the status quo. Our work might help dissolve boundaries between people, nations and disciplines. We like to spotlight what might otherwise remain unseen.
